Tiger Woods Is Making a Comeback

Now I can't make another post about golf without mentioning Tiger Woods. To my husband Tiger is his golfing hero. I really think my husband tried to improve his golf game because of Tiger. And it's nice to see Tiger making a comeback and getting his golf game back up to par.

Tiger Woods moved into position to win the last Cialis Western Open title Saturday, shooting a 5-under-par 66 after starting the day behind 34 players.

"It's nice to actually make some putts and piece together something out there because obviously my last tournament I didn't do that,'' Woods said. "It was nice to actually see the ball go in the hole again. I made some good putts, and I'm certainly hitting the ball better now, which is nice.''

Playing golf is a great way to beat stress and frustration. After all, a golf course is about the only place a person can knock the crap out of something, and not get in trouble. But instead being praised and rewarded by hitting the ball well. How perfect is that? But for many, they get even more stressed and frustrated. Golf can be the most infuriating game ever played, or the most fun.

My husband is one of those guys who loves to play a game of golf. Even when he has a bad shot he takes it in stride and keeps on playing. My brother in-law on the other hand can get very frustrated, sometimes his golf club goes further than the ball:) You might have seen the cartoons where the golfer has a club wrapped around a tree limb in frustration or yet another where it appears Zen golf might be a new fad. Either can be considered a fair account when you're talking about a sport with diversity and versatility.

The diversity of golf is found most obviously in the participants of golf. You do not have to be physically fit to choose golf as a sport, but it is known to be a beneficial exercise. It is not a game of the rich and famous, on the contrary there are many affordable public golf courses to be found. Anyone, man, woman or child can learn to play golf.

If you have never golfed, think about trying it the next time you have some free time. You might be surprised how much fun golf can be.
